About Me

I grew up in Kenya until I was 18. In 1973 I went to art school at the West Surrey College of Art and Design (WSCAD) in Farnham Surrey and graduated in 1977 having studied Fine Art Painting. In the past I have had work exhibited several times at the Whitechapel Open in East London, at the New Grafton Gallery, the Ashgate Gallery in Farnham, the Ashbarn in Petersfield and the Ogle Gallery in Cheltenham. I consider my work is fairly intimate and painted for a domestic setting. I am happy to take commissions, including portraits. Hi Virginia Joe-still on your travels?
Lovely posts, Art, especially the watercolours. I spent my childhood just on the east side of Romney Marsh by the North Downs but we'd often go that way to the seaside or for drives. It seemed vast and open at the time, like the prairies, and you've caught it in the paintings both on the marsh and at Dungeness.
